WHY WE ARE RE-MAKING A MUSIC VIDEO

As a class we all re-made Justin Timberlake's- Can't Stop The Feeling. We went away and in groups and re-created snippets of the music video and we had to try and make our re-make look like the official video. This was a good challenge for all of us as we had to re-make a successful music video and this meant that we were able to see what a music video, done professionally, looks like. It was also a really good lesson for us as we were able to see all of the different process that go into making a music video for example; The amount of shots needed, The editing process, The filming process and how long all of it takes.

This is very useful for when i come to making my own music video as i have now learnt how much time is needed, how many shots are needed, and how to make the video look like a mainstream music video.

Question4- How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? First, using Blogger as a tool to help us with research and planning has been very beneficial for our work. Blogger has enabled us individually and in our groups post and publish all of our work. Consisting of everything from the research, planning, ideas, rough cuts ect. This allowed everyone to publish their personal experiences with everything that have created, whether they have had difficulty or whether they have found it beneficial. Blogger also help us keep track of everything we had to do and enabled us to tick off everything that we had completed. Digipak analysis

Demi Lovato - Confident- Fonts used- Throughout the Digipak demi has decided to use very plain and simply font. This can be see on the front, back and the disc of the digipak. The font is also quite small and is in the centre of the all of the pictures. I believe this has been done so that the audience can easily locate the important information and see who the album is by and what the disk contains. I think Demi has gone for a simple vibe throughout the digipak juxtaposed to passed album she has created. I feel this has been done as this album was a kind of 'comeback' album. This is also why i feel she has gone for a simple text as it makes the audience focus more on the artist. the text also doesn't have any bright or vibrant colours, instead she went for a simple colour look and went with a black and white colour.
