There are many different aspects that one should consider when creating a digipak. Target Audience is one of the most important things to consider when creating a digipak this is the thing that is going to affect the success of the artist you are promoting. Digipaks not only help promote the album and their songs but it also helps market them as the artist and their record label. This is because on a digipak the person who has purchased the digipak can usually see a lot of pictures of the artist. This is a really good marketing tactic as the artist's fans are going to want to have their new album. With the rise in the social media and the power of the internet, it means that people are going to be talking about it and their loyal fans will be posting pictures and Tweeting/Facebooking about the new release of this album or song. Demi Lovato - Confident- Fonts used- Throughout the Digipak demi has decided to use very plain and simply font. This can be see on the front, back and the disc of the digipak. The font is also quite small and is in the centre of the all of the pictures. I believe this has been done so that the audience can easily locate the important information and see who the album is by and what the disk contains. I think Demi has gone for a simple vibe throughout the digipak juxtaposed to passed album she has created. I feel this has been done as this album was a kind of 'comeback' album. This is also why i feel she has gone for a simple text as it makes the audience focus more on the artist. the text also doesn't have any bright or vibrant colours, instead she went for a simple colour look and went with a black and white colour. I have many Initial ideas for my music video starting with the song. I was thinking of doing a an upbeat song because I am able to make a happy and up beat video along with it. Making an upbeat video would give me more ideas and shooting potential as there is many different things I am able to do. After considering multiple songs we finally settled on Charli XCX- Famous. This song was perfect for an upbeat music video that has a happy and up lifting vibe. Famous, is a fast tempo song bringing happiness to the target audience enabling us to create a 'party' theme video. The songs lyrics depict 'crashing the party' meaning that we were able to create a party themed music video. This meant that it all linked into our initial ideas about our target audience, having a party themed video and song meant that we had to tailor the video towards our young target audience. Chained to the rhythm- Katy Perry Representation- Chained to the rhythm is filled with lots and lots of subliminal hints to real life and the society well now live in. In my personal opinion I believe that the song is talking about modern society and the struggles everyone has to deal with on a day-to-day basis. This can we seen straight from the start of the video when everybody is running through the gates of 'OBLIVIA'. This connotes people are running towards something that they have no clue what the out come is. This links to the word oblivious meaning not aware of or concerned about what is happing around one.  This could also mean that everyone subconsciously does something because everyone else is doing it, which results in a vicious cycle that no one is able to break.
