Specific Knowledge of music videos.

Target Audience-
Target audience is a massive to do with a music video's success. This is due to targeting a certain type of music with a certain video to a specific demographic. This is also very important because it means that they are able to target certain types and groups of people. Tis is so they can ensure the sales of the product that they are creating. The audience of the product enable the video to be successful.
* Make sure the right type of audience are targeting for your product.

Typical images found-
Depending on what type of music genre, video and what content it requires. If the music video is a pop video then there will typically be things relating to current trends. Another example would be rap, were the artist is usually seen to be in an affluent situation with nice cars, money and usually the sexualisation of woman.

Typical locations.....-
Typical Locations for pop music video will be somewhere that is very expensive and that the pop genre's target audience will enjoy. Pop video's will also include a lot of expensive clothing and prop's eg. Gucci, Prada clothing and very expensive high performance cars for example; Ferrari's, Bentley's and Range Rovers.
An example would be the Chainsmokers, Closer. Where the whole song is about a Range Rover and this is seen in the music video as well.
Typical locations for a Rap video would be set in or outside a really expensive mansion, with expensive cars like Ferrari's and cars that would be seen as a more 'manly' car. Settings of music video's are also heavily influenced by the genre and content of the music.

Places found in music video-
Personally I think the domestic setting is a setting usually used by artists in a music video. I think this is because most stories begin in this type of setting, hence the reason for it being included.
An example of there being a domestic setting in a music video would be Beyoncé - If I Were A Boy. The music video starts and finishes in their home. Another example would be Andra Day - Rise Up. The music video also starts and revolves around a domestic setting. Another example would be Jessie J - Who You Are, which is also set in domestic setting, however she is in the bedroom most of the video.

I have figured out 100% what I am going to don for my music video yet, however I believe I might do a Pop video so I think I will include things that are on trend at the moment.
